Jmeter Proxy server not able to open Site with Login form.

Hi All,

I am encountering a problem while using Jmeter.

I did all the required setting to use the HTTP proxy
server and it was running fine , but when I came next
morning and tried to start recording then the proxy
server was not able to open the secure site (site
having Login form) for other site the recording is
working perfectly.

I have not made any changes from the last day. If I
don’t use Jmeter proxy server then I can access all
the sites (So there should not be any issue with the
TCP/IP properties). I have checked many such related
issues on net but could not find any solution to my
problem.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

The Proxy recorder cannot record HTTPS traffic.
If it could, HTTPS would not be secure.

You will need to add the login sampler by hand, or use a browser
add-on that can capture the traffic before it is encrypted.

Thanks Sebb..
But if that is the case then why was the recording
working for login page one day back..any clues...
One day back I was able to record on sites like yahoo
and gmail then why did it stopped next morning...this
is a bit confusing for me....it would be great if you
could clarify this doubt of mine.....
